This tour of the exhibition provides insight into Hans Uhlmann’s prison diaries from the years 1933 to 1935 and describes his artistic career, starting with the linear drawings of the 1930s, through the semi-figurative graphics of the 1940s to geometric abstraction from 1950 onwards.
We take Uhlmann’s diaries and works of art as well as Albert Weis’ reflecting exhibition architecture as the starting point for a joint conversation.

The tour is moderated by Viktoryna Iunovych (art historian).

A mouth and nose cover must be worn when visiting the museum.
