About us
Located in a historic building directly next to Grunewald in the immediate vicinity of the Brücke Museum, Kunsthaus Dahlem is an exhibition house for post-war modernism in Germany. The museum is run by the Atelierhaus Dahlem gGmbH, a subsidiary of the Bernhard Heiliger Foundation founded in 2013. Kunsthaus Dahlem is supported by institutional funding from the Senate Department for Culture and Community of the State of Berlin. A major focus of the exhibition house is the presentation of sculptural art, complemented by painting, graphic works and photography, with particular emphasis on the years 1945 to 1961.
