THE GLORY OF POWER – Photographs of Ulrich Wüst
With his series The Glory of Power (Die Pracht der Macht), the Berlin-based photographer Ulrich Wüst examines the aesthetics andimpact of totalitarian imagery and the language of architecture. By turning his focus to details, and sometimes ironic combinations of pictorial elements, the artist disrupts the context and undermines the intentions of buildings and sculptures that they otherwise have in reality.
