With the exhibition Emilio Vedova – More than Movement for Its Own Sake, Kunsthaus Dahlem dedicates a show to the Venetian artist that focuses on his Berlin years from 1963 to 1965. This period marks an important phase in Vedova’s career, during which he embarked on new artistic paths.

The Freiburg painter Bert Jäger (1919–1998) devoted himself to gestural painting in the style of Informel. The exhibition Bert Jäger – When Seeking Kindred Spirits presents paintings and drawings from Jäger’s early creative phase in the early 1960s, placing these works in dialogue with those of Emilio Vedova.
