You are warmly invited to the opening of the exhibition Eva Frankfurther – Drawn from Life, which will take place on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at 7 pm at the Café in Kunsthaus Dahlem.

The exhibition presents the work of the Berlin-born Jewish artist Eva Frankfurther (1930–1959), who emigrated with her family to London in 1939 to escape Nazi persecution. More than 40 paintings and works on paper portray immigrant and working-class communities in London’s East End, offering a nuanced perspective on migration, exile and cultural diversity in postwar Europe.
